We were set to record when we lost our bassist. The only song we have up is an acoustic one I'm not crazy about hahaSirConnery

Why do these young kids think they have to all be classified as a scene kid, a hipster, an emo, etc and then in the next breath reject all labels and complain about being labeled? Maybe their brains are misfiring?stupidtinendo

Remember when either you were a man or a woman? Sure, you liked a certain type of music, but aside from wiggers, most people were just...people. Now you can't even tell what these skinny jean jerks are anymore. Someone needs to tell them all to stop being such uptight emotional doges.

I hate emos. Everytime I see one of their little gayass cliques in front of Hot Topic or Spencer's Gifts at the mall I want to kick their lily asses.

id say that more than half of the population in my town are hipsters... as long as they dont have that annoying "I think im smart" attitude, I dont mind them.

There's a difference between being a hipster and being considered a hipster by ignorant people.

I don't understand all the labels, and why there's 3 different names for basically the same thing, or why these groups are such a big deal nowadays and kids try so hard to mold themselves into one. I just really don't care, if I see an emo/hipster/scene kid and they're acting like an idiot, I'll think they're an idiot. If they're acting like a mature, respectful, intelligent person, then they're cool in my book and I don't care how they're dressed or what music they listen to. Chadical

The only thing wrong with the kids being labled as such in this thread is that they aren't getting enough attention from their family or school. Their confused/struggling to fit in and then they see this whole other sub-culture and feel that it's different like them and they hope it will be accepting but what they don't realize is that it's a whole other clique and their trying to fit in all over again. It's a vicious cycle and the only cure for it is to grow up.

Emos, hipsters, whatever else are all so unique and one of a kind...that's why they need a fudging on how to be one.

I hate these kids with a passion and I want to strike them all down, what a ridiculous fad.
